Paris on the Web

Paris at home 005

We are nearing the end of our Paris in July adventure – the month really has flown hasn’t it?? I start the month with a plan of what I will read, watch, write and devour and my plans always get waylaid (in the best possible way) by the posts I read by our amazing Paris in July participants and other Paris related goodies I find as I browse the web.

So, I thought tonight, in lieu of a book review, I would post links to some of the Paris inspired places I have discovered during the month – I hope you enjoy getting lost in them too.

Design Sponge posts Anne Ditmeyer’s 24 hours in Paris – I so want to experience this day!

– One of my favourite design blogs Bloesem posted about beautiful maps of France from Famille Summerbelle

– I love this Paris paper city – I will be making one with Sweet Pea soon…

– I’m trying to work out if I can afford to dress Sweet Pea entirely in French fashion from now on… am loving this. Although I did buy this cute little top from Target today!

– I found this unique and detailed colouring book of Paris in a bookshop

– I love visiting this gorgeous French bar/lounge in my city

How about you? What delightful French fancies have you found this month?

I love the paper city! And it’s all free for the taking. I was hoping to buy a puzzle of Paris, but I couldn’t talk myself into spending $40 on a hybrid 3D puzzle of the city. I still might though.

I was reliving my visit to Merci when reading Anne Ditmeyer’s post — such a beautiful shop, with the cafe lined with books, where I had a nice sit down. The homewares were also gorgeous though (I think, luckily for my budget!) hard to bring home to Oz.

What wonderful sites! I’ve so enjoyed playing along with Paris In July this year — I really loved all the fun links everyone shared — and good reviews, fun photos! Thanks for hosting. (I’m a little late to the commenting party, having been out of visiting commission for much of the month — but now I’m going back and trying to catch up so for me it will be Paris Visiting in August!
