Paris in July – The Week That Was

Paris In July 002

And just like that another week in Paris in July passes us by…

We started the week off with a bang with the celebration of Bastille Day and posts by Adria and Vicki giving us their point of view from Paris itself. Tamara made my wandering heart want to jump on a plane to Paris with her review of some of the wonderful markets around the city and a scrumptious food post and Adria let us in on a little secret about the Queen’s visit to Paris.

I loved sharing some of mine and my daughter’s favourite Paris based story books as well as posting an interview with author and Paris in July co-host, Adria about her writing process and reflections on her novel, Paris Rue des Martyrs. Another one of our co-hosts for the month, Bellezza, wrote a gorgeous post about her love of French perfume (and is planning another one for next week). Nichole rounded off our week with a beautiful photographic post showing Paris taking it easy.

How did you celebrate Paris in July this week? Please share your posts in the Mr Linky below. A random blogger will be chosen to win this weeks prize.

The winner of the first weekly wrap up post from the 6th July is Arti from Ripple Effects for her movie review post. Arti, please leave your email address in the comments to this post and I will contact you regarding your prize.

Karen, this is like icing on the cake. I never knew there’s a prize to win, for this is fun and enjoyable enough as it is. Thanks!

Although I am not in Paris & am a little late catching on to this fun group of Paris in July bloggers , i do think that my posts about French market baskets could apply to Paris just as well as the south of France where I find myself.

I imagined myself in apron and beret as I assembled a French-inspired cheese course and baked a cherry crumb tart as a preview of Dorie Greenspan’s Baking Chez Moi. Thanks for a fun month!

I don’t think I realized links were being posted on all your sites. I put mine on Tamara’s. Maybe when I have a chance, I’ll come back and add them in, in order. Or all of them on one — who knows.
